7th Pay Commission – Expectations and Suggestions-No 2
Rajeshwar Prasad says on 04/10/2013
Before 6th CPC two increments was given to employees but after 6th CPC only one increment is given (normal / MACP).
Looking at delayed job opportunities the difference between MACPs should reduced to 5 to 7 years.
Due to government policies the quantity of workers (below JE) is reducing day by day, but the work is increasing out of capacity, hence the workers below JE should be compensated with extra ordinary allowances.
The ratio of workers and supervisors should be as
1- SSE - 1:150
2- JE - 1:50
Currently at some places it is
1-SSE - 6-8:150
2-JEs - 1:90
The designation names like khalashi, peon, hamal etc should be changed as the Group D is abolished.
