7th Pay Commission – Expectations and Suggestions
1.Expectations and Suggestions
vkchandran chandran says
Many anomalies out of 6th CPC implementation have not been resolved yet but announced for the setting up of 7th CPC.   There was a point under discussion that those who retired/retire on 30th June one increment (there ligitimate right having completed their hones service for 12 months) will be given but until now no action.  I am retired person, retired on 30th June 2010 after completing 37 plus years service in Central Govt.  Like me there are many persons.

In case of such worries if prevailing in your mind, please convey the same to the details of Email ID given below. I have plans to properly display the same in the http://www.7thpaycommissionnews.com/. As such, please register your expectations without delay.

  1. My suggestion:

As serving employees receive annual increments, pensioners should also be given annual increments equivalent to 50 % of annual increment given to serving employees of the same band / Grade pay.

  3. Not taking the last year of service for the employees retiring on 30th June for calculating the retiring benefits is not correct on the part of the administration. This anomoly is because of the policy of the Government and not due to any misdeed by the employee. Punishing the employee at their old age by way of extracting one full year service without any end benefit for last year of service. A favourable orders is expected from the govt. in this issue at the earliest.

  4. An employee promoted in July 2008 and retired in July 2009 gets two increments whereas when an employee retires in June is benefitted only one increment when rendered more service. A clear case of anomaly that has to be set right without delay.

  5. This anomaly can be partially set right, if 50 % of increment(given to serving employees) is given to pensioners as per my comments above dt. 11 Oct 2013. As pension is considered as "deferred payment of wages/ salary by the employer ", granting of incremenets are legally justified.
